Yiannis Morgan: Bio
Yiannis was born in Cyprus, moving to the UK at the tender age of two. A mixture of Greek/Irish parentage he was fortunate enough to have inherited a distinctive Mediterranean look, along with the Irish gift of the gab – both of which have served him well in his chosen career path.
An only child, and never one to shy away from the limelight, it’s not surprising that he soon found himself drawn to the stage. This passion reflected in his education, as he eventually went on to study Film/Performing Arts at Winchester University – graduating with a BA Honours Degree.
His breakthrough performance came in 2002 at the Edinburgh Festival, starring as the lead in the acclaimed play “Traverse” – which he also wrote. Since then he has gone on to enjoy a varied career as actor, writer and TV presenter.
Yiannis has spent the last decade working at the heart of the British Film/TV industry for some of the biggest names in the business; that include Warner Bros, Sky, BBC, Endemol…
An experienced/versatile performer, Yiannis is comfortable adapting to any role thrown at him. As an individual he leads a full and active lifestyle, bringing this energy to his work.
